One thing about Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords is it could be missing some of that feel you get in the original Knights of the Old Republic game. |
In this mod, the author decided to name your PC Chewbacca. That’s not all he did. He also changed your appearance into Hanharr, the Wookiee. As many of you know, Hanharr is a rival of Mira because Mira saved Harharr’s life and in Wookiee tradition, the Wookiee would then owe a life debt to the person who saved their life. Hanharr couldn’t stand the fact it was a human who saved his life, so he hated Mira for it. |
Well, it’s time for another update again. I can almost hear the cheers from the viewers. If you haven’t cheered yet, would it help that this mod is coming from Stoffe? That should do the trick. This particular updated mod is for the combat arena, which is available for Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. |
Ten years ago in 1997, we first saw the planet of Coruscant in the Special Edition of Return of the Jedi. It was only a brief appearance. In 1999, The Phantom Menace came out and we really got a good look at Coruscant and especially the Jedi Temple and the Senate Chambers. It was a city planet and the capital planet of the Republic in Star Wars. Then in the sequel of 2003’s game of the year, Knights of the Old Republic II: |
uying and selling things as we all know is just a way of life in KotOR, there are merchants on every corner, people come up to you with business deals, they even try to force you to buy with some of their tricky dialog. It's all in good fun though as when we do buy something from them it is usually pretty useful in the game. That is why when I see mods that allow for more merchants in the game do buy, sell, and swindle your money I just can't help myself. Well anyway enough of my ranting time for the review. |
When most of us played through the original Knights of the Old Republic game, we got a good look at the Darth Bandon/Sith Apprentice type armor/robe. If you were like me, you thought it looked really cool. I was bummed out when I destroyed Bandon and put on his armor only to see that the model of the armor was different. |
Well everybody this is a cool looking patch for some of DD's (DarthDementous's) mods...well specifically the Recruit Darth Dementous 1.4 and DANIKA mods. This adds in a couple new options for them in mira's and G0T0's dialogs they also come equipped with conditionals in the dialog lines which will give it more of an interesting outcome. So this I have to say is a fina addition to both of those mods and hopefully in the future we can see more of these patches. Awesome job DD, keep up the grea |
May 13, 2007: Make sure you get the patch to this mod! http://knightsoftheoldrepublic.filefront.com/file/Droid_Planet_Mod_Patch;79006 When you’re a fanatic about any game, you want to learn as much about it as possible. In case of the Knights of the Old Republic game series, you learn that a lot of content has been cut, especially in the sequel, Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords when researching about the game. What is great with TSL is the cut content that was left behind by Obsidian. |
Seems like today is patch and update day. Updates are good. It takes a good mod and makes it better; in the case of this mod patch update, this being the case. Darth Shan has made an update for his Droid Planet mod for the sequel game, Knights of the Old Republic II |
So does anybody wonder from time-to-time where the Ebon Hawk has been, who it's been with, or why it was so damaged? Well this mod might just explain a few of those things for you, though the Ebon Hawk's damage was appearently caused by a hyper space battle because of all of the carbon scoring on the hull of the vessle. But beside that this will allow you to find out who owned this ship and what happened to them to give up such a first class vessle |
Well again Shem brings us another one of his awesome merchant mods and this time it is for TSL so you all can tell this is going to be really cool. This one does bascially the same thing as the K1 version of this mod but with a twist, it is for TSL. Again this does upgrade a good majority of the merchants in TSL like it did in K1... 90% to be exact. Now as before he wasd thinking of all of you guys who just have too much moeny for your own good, so now also in TSL you can get rid of those pesky credits that you just seem to accumulate. So all in all like I said in my last review of the K1 version of this mod I really do find it quite beneficial and overall great to have in the game. |
Well this is fun.. two awesome mods from Shem in one day. It is not surprising though, Shem is an awesome modder and when he puts out a mod he goes all out. It looks like this one is the counterpart to the one I just reviewed last. Well I know that you all have heard my speech from the last one so I am going to get right into the review. |
You know what is missing in the Knights of the Old Republic games? How about a bank? Yeah, one of those places to get credits when you need them. Wouldn’t the Jedi Order have an account to access funds? If so, wouldn’t it be cool if you could access them, especially since the character you’re controlling is a Jedi? |
Here we have a mod by our newest staff member JediShemL. This mod changes the way each Jedi Class gains their Force Powers per level. Every now and then your jedi will get two powers, then next level he will get one. It is pretty much random the way he has set it up. As for balance, I would have to say this mod is as balanced as it could be. The noticable difference that this mod has to other feat/force power gain mods is that it changes the rate at which your specific class gains powers. |

Have any of you modders out there ever tried putting a texture on something that doesn’t have the correct model for it? Lots of times it happens when a modder totally overlooks something, starts up their game to see how their results turn out and realized they forgot a step or two. Ever thought, “Now this would be funny to release to the public.”? Well, whatever happened to Darth Corr during his modding time somehow inspired him to release it this for fun for Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. |
One thing that should be noted about FileFront like other websites is it is a world wide site. Many different people who speak different languages come to this site that has the skills to speak the English language and install different mods with English text. |
Now, here is something totally original for Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. Mandalorian16965 brings us a mod that totally got me laughing. I’m not laughing at his attempt, or his work, but at his idea, only because it’s so original and nobody has attempted to make this a public downloadable mod. To be more specific, I’m laughing at the idea of your PC running around looking like an assassination droid. More on what it is that is so funny to me. |
In the short time the HK Factory Reconstructed Mod has been here, the download counts have skyrocketed. I’m not surprised since over the last couple of years people have talked about wishing that part was in the game for Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. |
NOTE: This mod can be used for both Knights of the Old Republic and Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. Check the read-me for important installation information! |
Jedi masters most of the time look pretty cool so why wouldn't you want to be one or at the very least look like one? That is exactly what Mandalorian16965 thought and that is why he made a mod that will let you look like them. Now most of the time I do discourage the use of disguises in mod because of the lack of it actually being something that your character can wear and still look like the same character they were. This one is pretty cool though because this allows you to look like al of the jedi masters, here is a list of the ones you can be... |
Well I don't know what to say about this armor other than it looks pretty awesome, as you all might have seen there have been a few mods like this out there but they all have thier own advantages and disadvantages. This one's features are pretty simple bascially you go to Dantooine kill a certain character and get the armor, just like in the good old days of Star Wars Knights of the old Republic I. For reference here is another mod review that I did that had bacially the same armor just in a different place.. |
Ever wanted to be part of something as big as a militia, to focus your talents on saving to republic and all of it's people. Well now you can with this armor, Silveredge9 now gives us the chance to become part of the Dantooine Militia with this armor. So become part of something worth doing, The few, The proud, The Dantooine Militia |
As many people probably noticed their first time ever playing through Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, going through the Harbinger, you may have noticed the Kolto Tank there. |
Mandalorian Assorted Armour |
Well this has got to be one of the smallest mods ever hosted on a filefront site. I used this mod for a while before it was on here. So I can gladly say it rocks! This mod gives you bonus feats as you level up. The author didn't go crazy, which is good, he has limited it to a max of 2 points each second level up. I know that in the higher levels this comes in handy, I found myself with nearly every feat around lvl 26. As far as I know this is a first type of mod for this site. This is very nicely balanced and is going to stay in my override for a long time. |
The Harbinger as all of you may know was a transport vessle carrying valuable fuel, cargo and the exile to the Telos Restoration Zones until Darth Sion hijacked it and pulled it off course to go in search of the exile who had escaped to the near by Peragus Mining Facility. |
Ever wanted to look like Darth Nihilus in Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords? Come on, I know some of you do since he’s got those cool robes and mask. He’s also got cool looking combat animations too. If you just wanted to look like him and fight like him, this mod by Mandalorian16965 gives you that option. |

f you wanted a Mandalorian crew for your party members, well, I’d have to say that Mandalorian16965 has fulfilled your wish in that area for Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. I suppose this gives Mandalore a true reason why he welcomes you and your party when you meet up with him on Dxun |
So, do we got any Mandalorian lovers out there? Oh, come on, I know you’re out there. Well, do I have a treat for you. Well, actually the treat is provided by A_Hallucination, I just get to review it. |
Mandalorian16965 has brought us a new type of mod for all of us to play with. This particular file is a heavy piece of armor that gives you the white Sith Soldier appearance (see screenshot for visual reference). As always, the author loves to give bonuses to his new wearable items and particularly defense type of bonuses. Well, defense will save your life in this game from time to time. |
This mod works very well for what it is intended to do. When I was playing Knights Of the Old Republic II I always found it strange that the sith assassins did not use lightsabers as their weapons. This mod fixes that, and it does it without any errors as far as I can see. Nice work, keep on fixing the game for us. |
This mod changes the default clothes models for male and female Exiles into the Sith "Mid" robes seen on the Sith at the Trayus Academy. It adds additional armors, called "Sith High Robes", which can be created at the workbench with a Repair skill of 8 if you are darkside. There's a seperate one for males and females. This also will change the slave outfit. So you will no longer be able to use it. |
This mod allows you to skip past Peragus in TSL. Try it out. I'm pretty sure you won't be disappointed by this little mod. |
So we started with Skip Peragus for Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, then we get Skip Taris for the original Knights of the Old Republic game. Obiwan3001 wanted to get into the act with skipping areas, so now we get Skip Telos, the area you do next after Peragus for Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. |
Spawn Items List в SW KotOR II |
Obiwan3001 just sent in a pretty cool mod, this mod will add in a surviving miner into the peragus mining tunnels. Obiwan3001 did say this was kind of a funny mod and that he was just doing some experimentation for creating some other serious mods. |
Just so you guys know, this is my 300th mod review at this site. Does anybody remember playing your Knights of the Old Republic game and going to Yavin to meet up with the rodian merchant, Suvam Tan? If you have only played the xbox version of KOTOR and never downloaded the live content, you probably won’t have a clue to what I’m talking about. Anyway, Suvan Tan was the merchant who if you help out would let you buy lots of really great items and the lightsaber crystals, Heart of the Guardian and Mantle of the Force. |
